Who we are
RURAL Health Support is a non-governmental, non-profit professional and voluntary Organization that has a humble beginning as a one unit in Tanga region but with the desire of having Branches throughout Tanzania. Its membership expected to grow from 6 founding members to over 1,000 when reaches 2026, but will remain voluntary except for a modest full-time secretariat of Six persons, who will help the Organization execute its daily activities.
What we do
RURAL Health Support main purpose is to prevent diseases especially CANCER as far as Cervical Cancer, Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer are concerned in high prevalent regions and promote healthy lifestyles through advocacy, lobbying, education and awareness creation on public health issues at all levels in Tanzania mainland.
